Ethilon is a non-absorbable suture made from strong monofilament nylon. Ethilon sutures from Ethicon have a smooth surface, which reduces bacterial migration, and must be knotted with some care. All sutures are supplied with a cutting Atraloc suture needle. Ethilon suture is available in various thread thicknesses, lengths, colours and needle sizes.

An excellent choice when planning to remove the sutures at a later date. These Ethilon sutures are used, amongst other things, in soft tissue and for conditions such as ophthalmological, neurological and cardiovascular disorders.
