Allevyn Sacrum is an anatomically shaped dressing for moderately to heavily exudating wounds.
The sacrum is the most common site for decubitus wounds.
Allevyn Sacrum has been specially developed for a perfect, anatomical fit on the sacrum, combined with the proven benefits of Allevyn Adhesive.
This combination results in safe wound management of pressure sores.
Clinical tests prove that treatment with Allevyn Adhesive/Sacrum is more cost effective compared to a widely used hydrocolloid dressing.
Allevyn Sacrum has a triple structure consisting of a wound contact layer, a soft and highly absorbent hydrocellular foam layer and a top that is impervious to fluids and bacteria.
