The sterile 6-ply non-woven slit swab is manufactured binder-free and possesses the absorptive capacity of a 12-ply gauze swab.
The material is very soft and therefore gentle to the skin.
The slit swab serves as a sterile wound cover of inlets and outlets, for example, of tubes, drainages, catheters, Kirschner's wires in cases of extensions or external fixtures.
