3M™ Tegaderm™ Transparent Film Roll can be used to cover and protect catheter sites and wounds, to maintain a moist environment for wound healing and to fix aids to the skin.
Our sterile, transparent film dressing is vapour permeable.
Waterproof, sterile barrier: protects the I.V. site or wound from external contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, blood and body fluids.
In vitro tests have shown that the transparent film provides a viral barrier against viruses with a diameter of 27 nm or greater, while leaving the dressing intact without leaking.
The breathable film allows oxygen to enter and expels water vapour.
