The Terumo Surflo straight IV catheters are suitable for administration of medication, fluid or blood via infusion. The sterile intravenous catheter consists of an insertion needle, ETFE (Ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer) cannula and transparent hub with colour code and wings. The catheter is intended for the intravenous administration of fluids via infusion. The insertion needle has a conical design, allowing the needle to be inserted smoothly into the vein. The cannula is made of ETFE. It is kink resistant and is visible under X-ray imaging.
