DAX Alcogel 85 is a semi-gel, composed of three different alcohols, with ethanol as the main component. The alcohol strength is 85% by volume. DAX Alcogel 85 works quickly and does not stick after evaporation. The addition of glycerine as a moisturising agent ensures that the skin retains its natural moisture balance and prevents it from drying out. Make sure that the product does not come into contact with textiles, as it can leave white stains on coloured clothes. DAX Alcogel 85 complies with standard EN 1500 and has a proven effect on bacteria such as pseudomonas aeruginosa, escherichia coli, staphylococcus aureus and enterococcus hirae. The product also has a proven effect on enveloped viruses such as hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV and other virus families belonging to the orthomyxoviridae, including all human and animal influenza viruses such as H5N1 and H1N1.
DAX Alcogel 85 also has a proven effect on mycobacteria, such as mycobacterium terrae, and on certain naked viruses such as rotavirus and murine norovirus. Use hygienic hand disinfection according to EN 1500: 3 ml - 30 seconds.
