Prolene by Ethicon. A synthetic, monofilament non-absorbable suture.
Prolene is a high quality suture that can be used in many different procedures.
The surface is very smooth which minimizes any friction when passing through tissue. This also gives excellent knot tying abilities.
Prolene is coloured blue to increase visibility.
This suture is excellent for dental surgery in cases where a non absorbable suture is indicated.
